Building a Stronger Oakham, Together A strong community isn’t just about the place we live—it’s about the people, the connections we make, and the support we give each other. While I couldn’t find this information posted on the town website, I believe that there are openings on the Board of Health, Board of Assessors, Zoning Board of Appeals, Parks and Recreation Committee, Finance Committee, Conservation Commission, Bylaws Review Committee, and our Council on Aging. These positions play a crucial role in shaping Oakham’s future, from financial planning to protecting our natural resources and supporting our seniors. As we move forward, we must honor Oakham’s history while also embracing the future. Our community is strongest when we value the experience and wisdom of lifelong residents while welcoming the fresh ideas and perspectives of newcomers.
