Natural mid-century
“Beautiful, subtle, natural.”
These are the words used by Sansiri’s own Vice President of Aesthetics & Interior Design, Watanyu “Gane” Tantiwong, to describe the type of quiet luxury The Society exudes. For those who have been to our wonderful social space, have you noticed a sense of warmth, positivity, and refinement that whispers rather than shouts?
When we began conceptualising this space a year ago, we wanted something that, of course, reflected the Sansiri DNA, but was also highly localised and served a true purpose for the community. To achieve this, you’ll notice that natural materials, neutral palettes, and a seamless blend between indoor and outdoor zones play a major role in design. We also didn’t want The Society to lack fun and flair, so pops of colour and rare art pieces—including a one-of-a-kind mural by Thai artist Phannapast “Yoon” Taychamaythakool—give the space its distinct and memorable personality.
Next time you’re at The Society, we hope you appreciate the thought that has gone into creating a space just for you and a space that feels like a second home where you can connect with friends—old and new.
