Happy Friday!! TK had an amazing day!! This morning we created our own solar system models!!! We split into two teams and rolled styrofoam planets into paint! We used the accurate colors for each planet then put them in their spots around the sun! This model helped the kiddos see how the planets orbit around the sun! This is a fun art activity that's also a developmentally rich experience that supports cognitive growth, motor skill refinement, social interaction, and creativity, all while laying a foundation for science learning!! 🪐🌏☀️ This afternoon TK did an astronaut training challenge!! We set out an outer space obstacle course for the kiddos to complete to become astronauts. They LOVED this and had so much fun! At the end of the obstacle course they had to write their name on the board to show their completion! An astronaut training obstacle course is a powerful developmental tool! It combines physical activity, imagination, and problem-solving in a way that strengthens the body, challenges the brain, and builds social-emotional resilience, all while making learning fun and memorable! 👩‍🚀🚀⭐️
