Through programs like the Remote Disability Access Program (RDAP), we aim to provide meaningful care and assistance to individuals with disabilities in Queensland’s remote areas, ensuring their independence, dignity, and inclusion.
About the Role
We’re looking for compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their personal goals while supporting their daily living activities and community participation.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality personal care tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with daily activities (meal prep, dressing, hygiene).
• Facilitate social and community participation (appointments, events).
• Promote independence through skill development.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with participants, families, and the RRIA team.

About You
We’re looking for individuals who are:
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to making a positive impact.
• Reliable, proactive, and strong problem-solvers.
• Skilled at building trust and rapport with participants.
Essential Requirements
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent (or willingness to obtain).
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or ability to obtain one.
• Driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
Desirable Qualifications
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in community support.
• Knowledge of NDIS systems and processes.
