Nothing. Then came our lightbulb moment. During one of those all-too-familiar, hectic mornings—rushing out the door, juggling snacks, and dealing with spills in the car, pram, or park—it clicked. What if there was a mess-free, reusable food bottle that let kids feed themselves independently? Not just for convenience, but as a sustainable alternative to single-use pouches. So, we got to work. The real challenge? Designing a system that pushed the food up without squeezing. One morning, Jules walked out of the shower holding an old toothpaste container. That was it. We cut it apart, stuck some duct tape on it, and made our first homemade prototype. Our first Subo bottle. A mess-free, reusable food bottle that lets kids feed themselves—without the drama.
