Yes, as lots of you guessed, it's new Stylecraft - aran and chunky have been added to the already popular DK, and there's plenty of room to add many more colours if these prove popular (feels very soft so I'm mightily impressed). Massive thanks to The Chartered Accountant who, on pretty much zero notice, dashed to Ikea, knocked out the fireplace and moved the heater. I did the hard work of moving masses of photos again and making sure my charity shop beauties were displayed to perfection - so 50/50. In no way detracting from pure wool, this is something that we've been lacking for a long time and I'm delighted to be able to stock more and more. The best thing about this is that it's drawing a lot of younger creatives to the shop - people discovering that making your own stuff is everything (as many of you know, my overriding wish for the shop has always been that it attracts more people to craft and making). Fear not wool lovers, there is a beautiful new wool dk coming for the knitting season (which will be ordered today), so as we continue to grow, I'm hopeful that we've got something to please everybody. The shop is definitely getting busier, and I think in these uncertain times, to be creative is something that is rewarding in so many ways.
