On the fifth day of my Spain trip, we were in the Andalusian Mountains and it was rainy and overcast. I was so happy that I did not have to live with harsh light and could work on taking pictures with bokeh. The problem was the rain and wet conditions. Birds will generally seek shelter in locations that provide protection. They tend to use shrubs, thickets, tree trunks, and the hollows of trees. I outfitted my camera with its rain gear and immediately noticed a “Eurasian Blackbird” perched on the roof of a house. These blackbirds are songbirds and one of the species where females sing as well as males. Females respond to males, during courtship, with a soft song of their own. These Blackbirds like to sing following rain and maybe this one was getting ready to do its thing. Eurasian Blackbirds form monogamous pairs when nesting, but pairs tend to split up between breeding seasons. Since I was quite close, I took my 2X teleconverter off of my Sony 300 prime, raised my ISO to 2500 and set my aperture at f/2.8. This is such a striking bird and I wanted to try and create bokeh to have the bird stand out.#sonyimages #sonyimages📷 #sonybirds #sonybirdsphotography #birdsonearth #birdlovers #birdloversdaily #birdloversofinstagram #birdlovers_daily #lovingbirds #birdphotography #birdphotographyworld #birdphotography🐦 #birdphotographyuk #birdphotos #birdphotoshow #birdsofinstagram #birdsofindia #birdingphotography #birding_lounge #birdingespaña #birding_photography#birdinginthewild #birdingphotographer #birdingcommunity#birdsofinsta #birdsofeurope#naturalbirds #naturephotography #natureofinstagram
