#SceneAD: The Board of Directors of Orange Egypt announced the appointment of Hesham Mahran as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective August 1st, 2025. Mahran succeeds Eng. Yasser Shaker, who assumes the role of Chairman of Orange Egypt following his appointment as CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa, succeeding Jérôme Henique. Mahran has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and information technology. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration. At Orange Egypt, he previously served as Chief Officer for the Business Sector, where he led enterprise strategy and developed integrated telecommunications solutions for corporate clients. He has also led several initiatives in digital transformation and infrastructure development, including overseeing the establishment and management of the New Administrative Capital’s Data Center.
