🧍‍♂️This is Amir. His story begins with his forced departure from home due to escalating violence and political unrest. Like many migrants, Amir hoped for safety and a chance to rebuild. But upon arriving in Germany, he found himself entangled in a web of harmful stereotypes. Populist media and sensational headlines paint people like Amir as threats or burdens, distorting his story and creating social barriers. Stories like Amir’s are rarely told in full. We often forget that behind every headline and story is a human being with dreams and struggles. What happens when we let stereotypes shape our understanding?
