We love old guys! Sounds like a dating site no one would visit! 😄 We here at Second Dance Ranch do, though. We love older horses and have an upcoming Double Stall 10 x 24 opening for an old / older gelding that likes quiet days lounging in a big stall so as to not stock up and the rest of the time out in flat pastures. Life is intentionally quiet here with few horses. We have no arena or round pen wait times; no crowded pastures, 98% flat pastures and generally speaking you hardly know anyone else is around. We are an all inclusive Concierge Care facility in a quiet peaceful environment far away from any paved main roads yet 8 minutes to the Asheville airport. We are perfect for the busy owner frequently absent due to work and or travel. We have over 35+ years of Veterinary experience uniquely positioned to care for almost any need. Complimentary, we feed grain twice daily and hay 24/7 in stalls and in pasture under cover with the seasons. Using your blankets or sheets is no charge. Feeding any of your supplied feed or medications is no charge. When horses pair up, they get their own pasture and stalls beside each other when possible. Admittedly, we're probably not the best riding facility as our two sand based arenas have been used as dry lots for retired horses and have grass growing in. We have a large round pen in the lower arena that turns over to sand with use. There are several level areas for gentle riding on site. You could say we're older horse owners and riders more into enjoying our horses than training them. We excel at retired horse full care boarding and for the busy absentee owner. Our boarders love our hands-on care for their horses. It's what we do best. Double Stalls 10x24 start at $1200. Should you have two older fella's. we could probably accommodate two double stalls. We have 20! Like I said, we like a quite simple life at the barn.
