Men

The Girl in the Picture Said: If you genuinely like a girl, her body count, even if it’s over 100 should not matter to you. I don’t know why some Men see body counts as grounds to not date someone. It’s her past, and you are her present. Focus on that. Do you agree?

. RESPECT IN A RELATIONSHIP Respect extends far beyond fidelity; it encompasses a variety of behaviors and attitudes that foster a healthy and supportive partnership. Some of the key elements of respect in a relationship you should always watch out for are - **Active Listening** Respect involves truly hearing your partner’s thoughts, feelings, point of views and concerns. It means setting aside distractions and giving them your full attention, validating their experiences, and acknowledging their emotions. This kind of engagement strengthens the connection between partners and ensures that both feel valued. Constantly talking over your partner and interupting them when they are talking is a sure sign that you are not listening to understand or care what there feeling but only justifying your actions. **Open Communication** Respecting your partner also means creating a safe space for honest dialogue. This includes expressing your feelings openly, discussing conflicts constructively, and being willing to hear uncomfortable truths. Effective communication helps to prevent misunderstandings and fosters a deeper emotional bond. If you are easily triggered or take everything as an attack then you will never be able to evolve and grow together as one. **Acknowledging Differences** Every individual brings unique experiences and perspectives to a relationship. Respect means recognizing and valuing these differences, rather than trying to change your partner to fit your expectations. Embracing diversity in thought and feeling enhances mutual understanding and appreciation. We are all different and as we grow we all evolve, we need to understand whoever we are with, will think and see things differently. Respecting your partner and who they are builds a very deep bond and connection **Empathy and Support** Being there for each other during tough times demonstrates respect and care. Empathy involves putting yourself in your partner’s shoes and striving to understand their feelings and reactions. This support is crucial for building trust and resilience in the relationship. It's so important to show up for each other when needed. If you have a partner who is always there for you, stands with you through your worst times, supports you and never complains, then you are truly lucky. But if you are not showing up for your partner as they are, matching there efforts, making time for them but accepting all they are doing for you, then that's not love or respect. Never say "when they start acting differently or doing certain things, then I will do for them". You should be serving your partner NOT waiting until your cup is full to think about pouring into their cup. **Avoiding Harmful Behaviors** Respect is about being mindful of your partner's triggers and avoiding actions that you know could hurt them. This includes recognizing patterns from the past that have caused pain and consciously choosing to act differently. It shows a commitment to growth and a desire to prioritize the well-being of your partner. You need to be a safe place for your partner, not a partner that yells, screams, curses and purposely say things that will hurt them or say things to there face that they trusted you with from there past. If you say thinks just to hurt your partner when your mad, or to WIN the fight or when you don't get your way, then you need to look within yourself at your past traumas to see why you want to hurt your partner like that. Anyone being subjected to that over time definitely will change. **Encouragement and Growth** Encouraging your partner to pursue their own goals and passions is a significant aspect of respect. This not only shows that you value their individuality but also that you believe in their potential. Supporting each other’s growth fosters a healthy partnership where both individuals can thrive. You should be involved in each other's passions and dreams to understand more about them, to be able to help and support them and to be able to build an empire together. If you are only focusing on your goals with your partner and not thiers then you can't grow as one and they will fell neglected that you just don't care about them **Boundaries** Respect means understanding and honoring each other’s boundaries. This includes emotional, physical, and personal boundaries. When both partners feel safe and respected in expressing their limits, it strengthens the relationship. Respect is bigger then just trusting your partner it's knowing without a shadow of a doubt they will be there for you, respect who you are and your boundaries. A partner who doesn't even think how something they do or say will affect you, is a clear sign they don't care about you, or respect your feelings. If you care more what others think, say or feel over your partner then that a sign of disrespect. Your partner will be there forever, why care more what someone else thinks more? You are responsible for the time, effort, respect and loyalty it takes to build a loving marriage and family. If you put more into or care more about your friends or your job then a life with your partner then it shows your not ready for any relationship. Respect is a foundational pillar of any successful relationship. It shapes the way partners interact, communicate, and grow together. Ultimately, when respect is prioritized, it leads to a deeper, more fulfilling connection that can withstand challenges and celebrate joys together. Consistently fostering respect creates a relationship environment where both partners feel valued, heard, and loved. You should always prioritize your partner, there feeling and heart. If you are disrespecting your partner, talking about there mistakes to others or talk bad about your relationship then you are just showing who you are and your inability to be a trustworthy person and safe partner. If you care more what others think or say then you need to ask yourself why the love and respect you receive from your partner is not enough and why you feel it's ok to disrespect your partner without any remorse!!!!

My aunt and uncle were coming over, and I planned to cook a rice-based casserole with meat, bell peppers, and cheese for them. On Monday, I learned that two of my aunt's children would be joining us, and they had food restrictions that made my dish unsuitable. So, I made grilled cheese for them instead, and everyone else ate my casserole. On Wednesday, my cousins accused me of being disrespectful by making them grilled cheese and said I should have made spaghetti instead. I called them entitled brats and now the whole family is fighting.
