Safe farmland
Halima fled Sudan with nothing but hope. Now she’s feeding hundreds of refugee children every day.
Forced to escape under the cover of night during Ramadan, Halima lost her home, her farmland and four family members. Today, she lives in Farchana refugee camp in Chad, where she leads a World Vision school feeding team supported by UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency World Food Programme
Together, our partnership ensures that children uprooted by conflict still have something to count on — a warm meal, a safe space and a caring community.
“I’m comfortable and happy,” Halima says. “If there’s food in school, the children don’t have to worry at home.”
