Qualified candidates will have: Excellent written and oral communications skills, including attention to detail, Interest in working with diverse audiences such as underserved communities, businesses, schools, haulers, municipalities, and residents, Experience developing and implementing outreach and education programs that motivate action, including presentations to the public, and Patience and motivation to tackle new challenges without waiting to be asked. Knowledge of solid waste, waste reduction, recycling, and composting is a plus.
