**Call for Participants: Research Study on the Lived Experiences of African American Males with Absent Fathers**
Hello everyone,
I hope this message finds you well. I am currently conducting a phenomenological study entitled "The Lived Experiences of African American Males with Absent Fathers," and I am seeking 15 African American males to participate in this important research.
**Who am I looking for?**
- African American males, aged 18 or older
- Individuals who have experienced the absence of their father during their upbringing
- Those willing to share their personal stories and insights about how this experience has shaped their lives
**What’s involved?**
Participants will take part in an in-depth, one-on-one interview, which will last approximately 45-60 minutes. Your stories and experiences will provide valuable insights into the challenges and resilience of African American males navigating life without a father present. All information collected will be kept strictly confidential, and your identity will be protected throughout the study.
**Why is this important?**
Your unique perspectives can contribute significantly to understanding the impact of father absence on identity, emotional well-being, and community dynamics. This research aims to promote awareness and foster dialogue about fatherhood and its implications within the African American community.
If you are interested in participating or would like more information, please reach out to me directly at jgravely2@liberty.edu or 804-299-8710. I would be grateful if you could share this post with anyone who might be interested.
Thank you for considering this opportunity to share your voice and experiences!
