🚨🚨DEVELOPING 🚨🚨 — Lee Zeldin, Trump’s handpicked crony at the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, has proposed gutting its budget by as much as 65%.
The massive cuts would mean no inspections or enforcement on polluters, no cleanups of toxic waste or lead in our drinking water, and no expert response and cleanup when there is a train derailment or factory explosion that threatens people’s lives and properties.
Administrator Zeldin and his fossil fuel industry buddies in Trump’s billionaire cabinet want you to believe that corporate polluters don’t cause climate change that endangers the public’s welfare. Don’t let them succeed in illegally gutting the agency that stands in their way.
