Join Our Growing Team at A+ Handwriting Pediatric Occupational Therapy! 🚐 A+ Handwriting is expanding, and we’re looking for an energetic Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join our innovative mobile therapy practice. If you’re passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and are ready to step outside the traditional clinic setting, we’d love to hear from you! What Makes This Role Unique? Instead of working in a clinic, our therapists provide services aboard our fully equipped sensory-gym-on-wheels therapy bus while parked at schools, homeschool groups, or private homes in the Tampa Bay Area. This role also includes providing support directly within schools, fostering collaboration and convenience for families and educators. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver high-quality holistic occupational therapy services to children in mobile and school settings. * Use expertise in primitive reflex integration, handwriting remediation techniques, sensory integration, polyvagal theory, and executive function to help children achieve success. * Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to support children’s goals. * Learn to operate and drive the therapy bus (no CDL required) – a clean driving record is essential. * Mentoring Program: Grow under the guidance of an experienced Occupational Therapist who is also a business owner. Gain hands-on experience in evidence-based therapy techniques and learn invaluable business skills from a seasoned mentor. * Innovative Work Environment: Say farewell to the traditional clinic environment and get ready for a dynamic and fun setting inside our air-conditioned A+ Handwriting Therapy Bus. * Direct Impact: You'll be working inside the parked therapy bus and also traveling to provide OT onsite at schools for 30 to 60 minute treatment sessions. Experience the joy of seeing the direct impact of your skills on improving children's lives who may not otherwise have access to OT services. * Adventure: Embrace the thrill of being on the go! Travel to different locations, meet diverse groups of people, and enjoy new experiences every single day. * Perseverance and resilience with partly outdoor job tasks in varying weather situations is a plus. Qualifications: * Licensed Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) from Florida DOH * Knowledge and experience working with children with various developmental abilities. * Training in handwriting remediation techniques, polyvagal theory, and reflex integration preferred. * Willingness to learn and adapt to a mobile practice model. * Provide evidence of a Level 2 Background Screening * Provide evidence of Professional Liability Insurance * Excellent Driving Record and confidence Job Type: * Part-Time with Full-Time Potential, Mentoring Available * Pay Range: $60 to $75 per treatment session, commensurate with experience * Experience Level: New graduate OT Practitioners welcome!
