In this class we'll be exploring several different ways to make delicious pastries both sweet and savory. Participants will make Pate a Choux, which can be used to make cream puffs and eclairs, as well as cheesy gougeres. We'll also explore puff pastry, and use it to create sweet palmiers and sacristains, as well as savory pesto swirls and ham, cheese, and spinach puffs. There are so many ways to use these versatile doughs; participants will leave with delicious treats and many more ideas for making sumptuous pastries for special events.
