What are your plans for August 16 & 17? If your answer isn’t “visiting a farm for Open Farm days”, then maybe we can convince you to adjust your plans! Every August, Farms across Alberta open their gates and invite you in to get a glimpse of what farming is all about and how delicious, nutritious and locally grown food can make it to your fridge and shelves. We will be participating only on August 16 from 9-5 (because we want to go and visit some other farms too on the 17th!), and will be offering free tours of the honey facility and answering all your questions about honey bees. We will also have candle making, animals to visit (did I mention kittens yet?), fresh veggies and a fresh honey tap (bring your containers!), and a gift shop full of local goodies and treasures.
