Protecting our natural spaces is more than an environmental imperative, it’s how we improve quality of life in our growing community. Mark Carney understands, as I do, that protecting our biodiversity and nature requires establishing new national parks. I’m thrilled to share that a re-elected Liberal government is committed to creating 15 new urban parks across the country. With so much good work done already on our future Halifax National Urban Park (with federal funding support), I’m as optimistic as ever that we will reach our goal of establishment.
