Sylvester Stallone was nearly flat broke, when he penned the story for "Rocky". He saw it as his ticket to better times. While many studios expressed an interest in the script, they were unwilling to accede to Stallone’s then seemingly strange condition. He was prepared to sell the script, if and only if, he would be cast as the lead character. Given his relative obscurity at the time, not surprisingly, several studios turned down his request. One prominent one, even offered him a whole lot of money-which must have been surely very tempting-but on the premise, he would have nothing to do with further development of the film. Stallone, despite his precarious financial condition, refused. Ironically, he was literally enacting the story of Rocky Balboa in his own life and actions. He was living the character’s journey as the ultimate underdog in the truest, most authentic sense of the word. Something which several studios would today regret for not having identified. We all know how this story eventually turned out. But there’s an important lesson in it for us. How much are you willing to stake to achieve your dream? What kind of money or other incentive are you prepared to say "no" to? What are the hits, the body blows, you are prepared to take, before you eventually stand triumphant? These are the kind of questions one must be prepared to answer. Having a dream is one thing, but achieving it can often seem like you are in the midst of a heavyweight title bout. The punches of disappointment often rain down on you. They can put you out for the count. But champions are those who have the belief they will be able to get up again, no matter how hard they have been hit. They rise to their feet again, when the easier option seems to be staying down. They cling on to their belief, even when no one else feels the same. Because it takes all that and more, to have ‘the eye of the Tiger’. And it’s not just about the thrill of a fight, it’s about not letting your dreams out of sight. No matter what. #grit #championmentality

Many of us felt different like we didn’t belong or fit into the mold society set for us. And you know what? That difference isn’t a weakness it’s our greatest strength. We want to talk about the power of stepping into who we are, even when it means breaking free of societal expectations. The world tells us to follow a set script: stability over adventure, conformity over individuality, and comfort over risk. But when we choose to live authentically trading the ordinary for a life that sets our souls on fire we find freedom. The storms we face along this journey, the moments of rejection, judgment, or isolation, don’t define us. Instead, they refine us. Those scars aren’t signs of defeat; they’re proof of resilience. Every challenge we’ve faced has forged a power within us that can’t be shaken. So, to everyone who’s ever felt out of place or called “different,” know this: you’re not broken. You’re extraordinary. The world needs people like us people unafraid to challenge expectations and shine their light. Rise, dreamers, rebels, and adventurers. Your difference is your strength, and your courage lights the way for others to follow. 🌟

THE POWER OF LOVE... Selfless sacrifice is never easy. In fact it was virtually impossible to achieve all of what I've set out to accomplished given the many unseen obsticals. Thus, God's predestined plans are always above our comprehension as we embark on lifes journey. I take pride in being obedient, BEING STILL as required in recieving God's direction never deviating especially during facing other opportunities & challenges. A vision, purpose & motion no one else could trully comprehend other than God & I. I've written all of my own material from a place that only God can deliver & the story gets deeper thus not today. Oooooowww LORD, ALMIGHTY I thank you & only you for seeing me capable & thus worthy. Because LISTEN truth is, the Lord knows who the world taught me to be vs. what He expects of me is diametrically opposed. And still I've often begged for a pass & feel some of Ya'll senseless motions deserve & can get the foolishness you were pathetically looking for 😎 And so but I Rise! I am just so grateful to know Gos is REAL Ya'll... He placed a KING, a God fearing Man equally yoked to lead, guide, protect the direction of His words & priceless possession, Woman/Voice. And to also ensure that, with his gentle LOVE & endless support that I would not be overcome with the weight of what this type Purpose & task entailed. Oh yeah the Lord knew it would be a hefty task thus built & prepared a path while testing my every endurance. Especially in moving without ulterior motive nor with expectations of a return. And yet the reward is unfathomable! I am convinced many people talk faith thus lead with hope, there is a difference. That's it... My gaze is now up ahead embracing the joy of what every aspect of our journey has meant thus far. The world has opened up to such beauty, peace in mind & joy. And both my King & I have an abundance of unconditional LOVE & Peace to share with it. Make all things NEW!
