Kiln Dried Monkey Pod (Parota) Lumber - $9.00 We have kiln dried Monkey Pod. We sawed this here at Odd Wood Lumber and dried it with our Idry vacuum kiln. This Monkey Pod lumber (also known as: Parota, Guanacaste, Rain tree, Ear tree) is a beautiful wood that comes from a non native, fast growing species that, due to the warm climate grows in much of Florida. The tree has a high canopy that often causes it to blow over during high winds. We work with tree companies to keep these from becoming mulch in a landfill. We have it planed in 4/4 and 8/4 thickness. Lengths from 4'-8'. Widths from 6"-12". Our Buyer's club price is $9.50 per board foot. If you're not a member our retail price is $15.
