Have you had a baby in Australia? We’d love to invite you to help us shape how we should measure whether maternity care is meeting your expectations and priorities.
‘Patient’ reported measures of experience and outcomes of care (PREMs and PROMs) are common for health conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, orthopaedics but there are NONE anywhere in the world 🌎that have been co-designed with maternity consumers - specifically for maternity care - weakening the reliability, validity and usefulness of the existing measures.
Curtin University Consumer Fellow Karen Schlage is leading consumer engagement in this important national work and would love to invite you to participate. This survey is the first of three rounds – we’ll be honest, it takes about 30 mins to complete but it’s absolutely worth it. Make a cuppa, sit down (ideally on a laptop💻 or tablet rather than phone) and make a 30 min investment in improving maternity care for everyone in Australia 🇦🇺. There is a separate survey for health professionals/ policy leads - comment below if you'd like the link. For more information on who is partnering in this work and how this world leading research is being undertaken you can visit the MMAMs website mmams.my.canva.site .
