This spacious Lower Level Family Room at our Golden Gate Edwardian project serves multiple functions; as a hang out area for teens, as guest quarters, a media room and a yoga/exercise studio. The client’s large-scale abstract painting informed the color palette, in sunny yellows, vermillion and plummy blues, lending the space a retro vibe. We picked fun furniture shapes, like the cloud-like Pukka sidechair from @ligneroset paired with a vintage midcentury side table and a hex ottoman, and the large space is anchored by a lively multi-color striped wool rug.
