LARRY 🐾 🏡 URGENT HOME NEEDED FOR A VERY SPECIAL LURCHER 🏡 We are searching for an experienced, patient, and loving home for a beautiful lurcher who has already been through so much in his life. This gentle soul has endured abuse and mistreatment before arriving in our care, and he needs a very special person to help him heal. Larry was rescued in 2024 and has been part of the Arundawn 'family' ever since 🆘 Why is he special? Larry is : 🐾 High Flight Risk – Due to his past, he is extremely nervous and will bolt if scared. A secure garden with high fencing and a commitment to double-lead walks will be essential for his safety in the foreseeable future 🐾 Trauma Survivor – He has damage to his skull from past mistreatment, so he needs a calm and understanding home where he can feel safe. 🐾 Building Trust – He is shy but incredibly loving once he feels safe. He needs a quiet home with no young children and preferably no other dogs (or only a very calm, confident dog). 🐾 VERY Patient and Experienced Home – His new family must be prepared to work at his pace, allowing him to build trust and confidence in his own time. 💛 What he needs: ✔️ A secure, safe, and quiet home ✔️ Someone home most of the time to help with his confidence ✔️ A family committed to slow introductions and gentle reassurance ✔️ An adopter with experience of nervous or traumatized dogs This boy has been let down by humans before, but we know the right person is out there to show him love, patience, and safety.
