Congratulations to Michael Chandler, our 2025 Jefferson’s Cedartown Teacher of the Year! Mr. Chandler teaches at Cherokee Elementary. Michael was nominated because he goes above and beyond for his students every single day. He brings joy, energy, and genuine care into the classroom, making learning fun and meaningful. Whether it’s creating engaging lessons, using visuals to help kids remember, or just sharing a laugh, he keeps his students connected and growing. His dedication to both students and staff is unmatched, and it’s easy to see the lasting impact he makes. Michael isn’t just a great teacher—he’s someone who makes school a better place for everyone. Mr. Chandler will receive a $500 gift card to Jefferson’s, as well as a commemorative plaque featuring him as our “Jefferson’s Cedartown Teacher of the Year” for all restaurant patrons to see. We received an overwhelming number of nominations for this award, and we truly wish we could recognize them all.
