We are proud to partner with People's Association on the inaugural 'Jalan with your Buddy – Corporate Adopter Edition', a jointly designed and implemented community initiative that promotes deeper corporate engagement and drives meaningful social impact. In this session, our #UOBHeartbeat volunteers engaged with 60 lower-income families to share insights on scam awareness and healthy eating habits. Following the sharing, each volunteer partnered with a family for a grocery shopping trip, where they selected items within a S$100 budget, sponsored by us. One of the beneficiaries, Mdm Shariffah Suhailah Bte Hassan Alkaff, shared, “This is my first time participating in this programme, and I appreciate having UOB volunteers to shop with me. What I like is having the freedom to choose our own groceries as compared to receiving a bag of groceries.
