You can take off the mask bit by bit, without pressure, and start recognising the real you underneath. Not because you’re forced to but because here, it’s safe to be seen. Counselling helps with masking by creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you will feel accepted as you are. Some of the areas we explore are - 💚 Why you mask - perhaps fear, past hurt, low self worth, social pressure. 💚 Build self-acceptance and reduce shame. 💚 Reconnect with your authentic self. 💚 Learn healthier ways to cope and express emotions. 💚 Feel seen and valued without having to hide. The process can bring relief, improve relationships, and boost emotional wellbeing.
