Hurricane season is upon us, and with it comes a renewed focus on readiness. This morning, we welcomed members of the media for a behind-the-scenes look at the critical systems in place to keep Tampa General Hospital operational before, during and after a storm. Known nationwide for our successful use of the AquaFence against Hurricane Helene's powerful storm surge, we're continuing to build on that success with even more enhancements across our Davis Islands campus. From flood protection to supply chain continuity, our facilities and safety experts shared how we prepare to protect our patients, team members and the region's only Level I Trauma Center in times of crisis.
