A Woman’s Hajj Journey: Patience, Reflection, and Faith.
Do you know?
If a woman travels directly to Makkah for Hajj and sees her period before entering Ihram, she must still enter Ihram at the Meeqat.
She cannot perform Tawaf or Salah, but she can do other acts of Hajj like standing at Arafah, making dua, and reciting dhikr.
If she mistakenly enters Makkah without Ihram, she must return to the Meeqat to assume Ihram. If she cannot return, she must enter Ihram from where she is and offer a sacrifice (dam).
If she was planning to perform Umrah before Hajj, she must wait until she becomes pure to perform Tawaf and Sa’i. If her period continues and she must leave, she can combine her Umrah with Hajj (Hajj Qiran).
Tawaf al-Ifadah is essential for completing Hajj, so if she is still menstruating, she must wait until she becomes pure before performing it.
