This summer, the 61-year-old #Beijing Friendship Store is experiencing a new wave of prosperity. Its backyard area has been transformed into a new space called “Friendship Garden,” which has become one of the most popular attractions for visitors in Beijing. With 800 square metres of lawn and green space, nine old spaces with various functions have been repurposed into distinctive commercial venues.
