Resilient hero
We need heroes.
We need someone to look up to. Someone to lead us, teach us, help us. We don’t need perfection, it's more about perseverance and grit. We need someone to show us how to shake the dust off & get up again. To make us believe that tomorrow can be better than today.
That hero is a father.
A family needs a father who's courageous, kind, sacrificial, resilient, and fearless...(and maybe sometimes a little tender because little daughters need a shoulder to cry on).
Being a father isn't just a title, it's about who you are.
Robert Blackman said, “‘Father’ is the noblest title a man can be given. It is more than a biological role. It signifies a patriarch, a leader, an exemplar, a confidant, a teacher, a hero, a friend.”
As a father to our daughter, it's a humble honor to bear this title and carry the torch. I endeavor everyday to live up to the challenge and the calling.
So, I wanted to take a moment to thank the heroes. The fathers & father figures in our lives, who have been the hero we needed, in the good times and the hard times.
Remember, tough times don't stick around forever.
But tough men do.
If you know one, comment and let them know how much you love and appreciate them!
Happy Father's Day. ❤️
