During my career as an engineer in public service, I anticipated the weekends as they were the time to return home to my family, having been frequently assigned away. Looking back, I realize how precious that time was and how quickly it passed. My heartfelt advice to young families is to cherish your weekends together, especially with your children whenever you can.
