We don’t talk enough about how often women nearly die trying to be lovable in systems — in families, in relationships, in cultures — that demand their silence as the price of belonging. But love that costs you your identity is not love. Love that requires you to shrink, contort, or bleed into “acceptable” is just trauma with better branding. I used to think being chosen meant being wanted. Now I know: being chosen means I choose myself, even if it leaves the room empty. Your child will not remember a “perfect” mother. They will remember a mother who lived her truth — loudly, visibly, and without shame. That’s how we end the curse. That’s how we become ancestors worth praying to. ⸻ 🧨 Modern love is often spiritual colonization. One person demands to be worshipped while the other erases themselves in the name of “connection.” We don’t call it what it is — we romanticize it, market it, write songs about it. But what we’re really seeing is mass codependency dressed as destiny. The moment a woman stops dying to be loved, the system around her begins to shake. Men feel threatened. Families label her “difficult.” Society wants her back in the box. But she doesn’t go back. Because once a woman touches her wholeness — after betrayal, depression, silence, or hell — she knows: she is not here to be digested. She is here to be a force of nature in a world that forgot how to feel.

One day, feeling safe with yourself will matter more than being chosen by someone who only loved the version of you that never had needs. You’re not difficult. You’re just done shrinking.

It’s no new news, our industry, like many, plays on beauty. It is used as a marketing tool. A sales tactic and way to get people spending more, attending more and feeling good. I get it. Beauty sells. But entitlement stinks. It is unattractive as f*ck. Don’t be the woman who demands and expects from life, from those around you just because you look a certain way. Work on building something broader and deeper. Your skills, your work ethic, your character, your impact. Why not ask what you can start GIVING, rather than what you should be receiving? It's like... Either You Get it or you dont!! Thus, playing with my time, kindness, efforts &/or intellect as though efforts have not been rooted in Heavy Motion, Authenticity, Love, Patience, Compassion, Consistsncy etc... Naaah, ask somebody else to embrace that lie. Thing is, I am no different than many others who've sacrificed much of themselves in a front line position with a passion & desire, hopeful to help elevate the mindset & ways of others to evolve into a healthy state of peace from within. While encounter the most horrific backlash from ones whom shun self accountability & unwilling to do the work of freeing themselves from internal struggle. That front line work is the HEAVIEST I tell ya 🤦🏽‍♀️ But God! That's the hidden reality that I've carried all so Gracefully being built, fashioned & molded specifically for the Purpose Filled Task! It's just that being direct, TRUTHFUL, Honest, FREE WILL, Competitiveness, Lack of Self Respect, Self Accountability, Self Sabotaging seems to be the favorable option for many of us. Only leading us in to revolving outcomes, self imposed circumstances.
