83-year-old Kyiv local Nataliia was at home when her neighbours told her about an incoming air raid. She fled to her bomb shelter, but even there she felt the force of the explosions. “I heard explosions; four of them were so powerful that the walls trembled in our shelter. I was disoriented. It’s a terrible stress at my age,” she said. The blasts shattered the windows of her apartment, but UNHCR’s local partner Rokada provided the materials she needed to repair the damage. “I am very thankful for the support.
