FOSTER NEEDED‼️Update on our late night Emergency ‼️ Our sweet baby puppy is still in emergency care and we are waiting on reports. 🙏🏻 unable to move with out Screaming in pain This poor soul was left to suffer and die in a box, after something tragic happened. Who knows what- but this little one was crying in pain. Crying out for help. And no one came. How long was he crying. How long was this baby waiting. ❤️‍🩹 As soon as we have X-rays back we will know what we are dealing with. But an over night stay and supportive care is going to run us close to $1000 if not more. When no one else steps up. We do. Please. Its not easy we do all we can to help them all When everyone else turned a blind eye- we stepped up. In pain Scared Unable to move A good sam found this little one unsure of what to do- went to social media and asking for help! “found a puppy in a box by the trash and it is crying with any movement! I believe it has a broken arm and it also has some puss filled pockets on its belly and he needs medical attention.” They did the right thing! They didnt ignore They asked for help and the right resources jumped into action. Gardner police is helping to get to the emergency vet and we have been contacted to support care! Now who is ready to help us, help this baby?! Dumping a dog (much less a baby puppy) is NOT the right thing. Asking for help, seeking support and calling the authorities - that’s what you should do. Just like this Good Samaritan did. Now it’s up to the rest of us to help too. Remeber how I say it takes a village - well some days it takes many villages coming together Like today We have had a crazy busy day. Medical call after medical call. Animals in need all around us. UPDATE: We just found out she’s going to need two blood transfusions and a plasma transfusion. She’s not stable enough for surgery yet. Tonight alone will cost $5,000. The estimated cost for surgery this weekend, including everything required in the ICU, is another $10,000—on top of the $5,000 already incurred—bringing the total to $15,000 to save her life. The ultrasound revealed she may have a retained uterus or possibly a blood clot—they aren’t yet able to confirm. What they do know is that the bleeding hasn’t stopped. Her body isn’t clotting naturally, so they are also treating her with high doses of vitamin K in case she ingested rat poison. No matter what she needs, we’re all in to help her. UPDATE: Mama is barely alive, lethargic pale, tail crusted with blood but thank God the sheriff was able to get her to us safely. She's going into the vet now. Mama also has severe bruising on chest. Her puppies toes were bit off 12 to 24 hours ago. She needs blood transfusions and is headed now to the emergency vet. We need her to be ok. We need to show her not all humans are like this. And that we love her and her life matters too. Keep fighting little beauty. Don't give up. We will protect you now. Just keep fighting. 911 URGENT HELP NEEDED Mom. Dad. 7 Newborn Puppies. None of this makes sense and its horrific to even believe —please read, donate, share, and pray. We were told there were two stray dogs found with brand new puppies. Animal control contacted us asking for help. But then the story changed. Suddenly, they claimed the puppies already had homes—only the mom and dad “needed gone.” None of it added up. We kept asking questions. And today, the truth arrived at our doorstep. A woman showed up at our shelter. In her hands: a laundry basket with 7 newborn puppies, no more than a few days old. She said she couldn't care for them. Said they were “strays.” But then said her 3-year-old toddler bit the paw off one of the puppies’ back legs. Then she said “I am going to shoot the mom. She’s hemorrhaging at home.” We called Animal Control immediately. They are en route to the house right now to retrieve both the mom and the dad. A deputy is being dispatched. The mom will be rushed to the vet next. The 7 tiny babies are already on their way to receive emergency medical care. Our hearts are shaken - but we are focused. These innocent souls are depending on us, and we will not let them down. Now more than ever, we need your prayers, your donations, and your help. Please share, prayer warriors. Our sweet Twiggy needs you now more than ever. She came into our care severely malnourished, and now she’s fighting for her life at the emergency vet. She’s in pain, unable to poop, battling refeeding syndrome, and severely dehydrated. X-rays are being done to rule out a blockage, as described below: Pain and Not Pooping: Likely related to gastrointestinal distress, possibly due to refeeding syndrome or another underlying condition. Refeeding Syndrome: Can lead to severe electrolyte imbalances, affecting gut motility. Dehydration: IV fluids are essential to stabilize and support hydration levels. X-rays: A crucial step to rule out intestinal blockage or confirm other abnormalities causing pain and constipation. Estimated Cost: $3,000 for treatment, diagnostics, and continued care just for next few days. This has been one of the hardest months we’ve faced with medical emergencies, but we refuse to give up on these precious souls. Looking at Twiggy, it’s clear no one has cared for her before now. Animal control was able to help her get there, called us and now she needs all of us to help her too! She needs to be checked out, and will need to be fed slowly. And given More love than she has had in a very long time. She is so skinny. She has obviously been neglected for quite a while to be looking like this. 😔 Who is ready to support a foster and love this sweet thing up and show her that not everyone in the world is bad.
