Ideal autopilot
Why podcasting without email is costing you clients.
Back in 2021, I was running a business that was on its way to an early grave.
I’d been running the business—a podcast production agency—for 6 years.
At the start, we’d grown effortlessly through referrals.
But as the industry developed, it brought more competition, lower prices, and fewer clients.
And while I was putting a ton of effort into marketing—including at least 15 hours a week producing my own podcast—that marketing wasn’t resulting in sales.
Which is kind of the whole point of marketing in the first place…
The most frustrating part was that the podcast was good. Maybe even great.
Almost every episode I’d get a raving email or DM from a listener who loved the show—almost every one of whom matched my ideal customer profile.
And yet after 6 months of doing the show, not one of them had signed up for a discovery call… let alone signed up to work with me.
It wasn’t until two years later, long after the podcast—and that business—had been officially put to rest that I realized my mistake.
The realization hit me when I launched a new podcast for a new business…
And within three weeks of launching, I had already signed three new clients.
Whoa.
What’s more, the new show took a quarter of the time to produce as my old one.
The difference?
This time around, I had an email marketing system that complemented the podcast.
More importantly, that email system was specifically designed to fill in the gaps that podcasting as a medium struggles with.
Specifically: Sales & conversions.
See, the data shows that podcast listeners convert at anywhere from a 2-8x higher rate than non-listeners.
But to capture that potential value, you need a way to reach them with the right prompt at the right time, in as low-friction a medium as possible.
Which is what email does better than any other platform.
If you’re curious, I’ve put together a short training and case study breaking down the low-lift email system I developed to work alongside my podcast to unlock sales.
In it, I break down how the system works and detail the specific components of my own Email Engine, including nerdy annotated guides to my lead magnet, landing page, welcome sequence emails, and more.
Follow the template and you’ll be all set to unlock the value you’ve already built up in your show.
The best way to see how this works is to watch the demo I've got for you in addition to the case study.

Ideal two-week
