We did special medications through our vet and her feet are trimmed a bit different than normal. After all this we still recognised she wasn't comfortable. Send your love to Chicago. Chicago is soon to be 27 and has been with his partner and teammate Catherine for 24 years! Chicago was one of the first horses to wear EQU StreamZ bands. See what he (and Catherine) still think of them….. “My Quarter Horse gelding, Chicago, is a few weeks from turning 27 years old. He has been my partner and teammate for the past 24 years. Over the years Chicago has been an active horse taking part in competitive show jumping as well as everyday recreational riding, 4-H activities and show jumping lessons with my son. When arthritis began to cause him discomfort, a friend recommended the Streamz bands. For the past 5 years I have been using the bands on him and for the past couple of years he has worn them 24x7, except when being ridden. We live in a harsh Northern Alberta Canadian climate where temperatures can range from -30ºc to +30ºc - with anything in between - which can play havoc on arthritic limbs.
