Job Responsibilities: 1. Develop and maintain a music ministry for the membership of St. Mark Methodist Church. 2. Select music for the worship service and convey this information to the Church Administrator for inclusion in the church bulletin. 3. Direct the choir and pianist during Wednesday evening rehearsals from 6-7 pm. 4. Direct the choir and pianist during the 10-11 am Sunday worship service. 5. Direct the choir and pianist during special evening services such as Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. Compensation: This is a salaried position paying $330.00 per bi-weekly pay period (26 pay periods/year). Experience: Practical experience in leading choirs, whether in church, school, or community settings. Education: A bachelor's degree in music, music education, or a related field is a plus. Personal: 1. Must agree to and pass a background check prior to employment. 2. Permanent position is contingent upon successful completion of a 90-day trial period.
