The ceremony is guided by Ricardo Goni, a Mexican Medicine Man and guardian of Mayan traditions. Since 2012, Ricardo has walked the Peace Journey, bringing ancestral teachings across Mexico, South America, Europe, and Asia. If you’re walking a path of healing—letting go of old wounds, reconnecting with love and trust—this ceremony offers a space for forgiveness, clarity, and expansion. 🧘‍♀️ Movement & Embodiment Sophia will guide a movement practice for you to explore your inner terrain and open the body to fully receive the cacao and emotional clarity it can bring. It will be a gentle, explorative practice with some time spent in longer held yin postures to relax the muscles, open the heart and bring you deeper into the body. Please note that all movement is always invitational and variations will always be offered. Sophia is a yoga teacher and menstrual cycle mentor. Born in the UK with Caribbean roots, Sophia has a deep passion for bringing more rest, connection & groundedness into her own life and the lives of others. She is also deeply passionate about the medicine of cacao and has witnessed firsthand the incredible insights the medicine has gifted. Ceremonial Cacao We will share pure ceremonial cacao, sourced from native Mexican seeds, as used by the Aztecs, Mayans, and other Indigenous cultures. Cacao works subtly yet deeply—opening the heart, guiding emotions, and amplifying inner clarity. It is rich in magnesium, theobromine, serotonin precursors, and many other compounds that support joy, focus, and emotional release. A Sunday of relaxation and restorative rest, with a chance to meet like minded others or contemplate introspectively ✨ I have the privilege of hosting a Spring Equinox ceremony where we can begin the true new year by putting some love and time back into ourselves 🌷 The ceremony will include meditations and energy exchanges, as well as a chance to reflect and share when comfortable to do so, and will offer us a chance for much needed stillness during our busy lives 💛 Cacao is a gentle plant medicine that has been held sacred by many ancient civilisations. Cacao offers numerous health benefits due to its rich content of antioxidants, particularly flavonoids, which help reduce inflammation and oxidative stress. It supports heart health by improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure, and spiritually, it is often considered a heart-opening food, promoting connection, mindfulness, and a sense of inner peace. Alles begint vanuit een diepe verbinding met jezelf. Deze middag laten we ons door de magische werking van pure cacao meevoeren op een innerlijke reis. Een reis door jouw hart op weg naar jouw innerlijke wijsheid en zelfliefde. De ceremonie wordt ingeleid door Anne Pijnenburg en Erwin de Boer. De eerste helft van de ceremonie kom je in beweging en sta je vervolgens stil bij jouw intentie. Waarbij we je begeleiden met een intuïtief geleide meditatie. Na het ceremonieel nuttigen van de cacao gaan we over in de quantum light breath meditatie van Jeru Kabbal. Een adem meditatie waar je blokkades mag verkennen en eventueel oplossen. Er zijn spaceholders (begeleiders) aanwezig om indien nodig je te begeleiden in jouw proces. Hierna sluiten we samen in rust de ceremonie af. Praktische informatie: - Inloop start om 13:45, de ceremonie om 13:00. - Prijs voor deelname: €40,- (Vroegboek korting tot twee weken voor aanvang €35,-) - Kom met een nuchtere maag. - Vermijd gebruik van stimulerende middelen (ook koffie) vooraf. - Trek gemakkelijke kleding aan. Verschillende laagjes voor warm en koud. - Neem een dekentje mee. - Gebruik je medicijnen zoals antidepressiva of heb je hartproblemen, meld dit dan aub vooraf.
