READINGS BY WRITERS Tuesday, June 17, 2025 7:30 P.M Hosted by Tim Nolan University Club of St. Paul 420 Summit Avenue St. Paul, Minnesota 55102 A Celebration of Brighthorse Editions’ New Chapbook Series Thomas Dillon Redshaw is the author of Heimaey, The Floating World, Mortal, and Ago: New and Selected Poems from Salmon Poetry. From 2000 through 2008 he edited letterpress editions of Irish poetry from Paulette Myers-Rich's Traffic Street Press in St. Paul. Kent Aldrich was born in 1964 and has lived most of his life in the Twin Cities area. Although he attended school at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, his real passion for the arts was ignited while working on a solid oak lever press at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival and as production manager at Coffee House Press, then in residence at Minnesota Center for Book Arts. For 24 years he has run his letterpress print shop, The Nomadic Press from the West Side in St. Paul. Though primarily a relief printmaker, Kent regularly creates artistic constructions in many mediums. Leslie Adrienne Miller’s collections of poems include Y, The Resurrection Trade, and Eat Quite Everything You See from Graywolf Press, Yesterday Had a Man In It, Ungodliness, and Staying Up For Love from Carnegie Mellon University Press. Professor Emerita at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, Leslie holds degrees from Stephens College, the University of Missouri, the Iowa Writers Workshop, and the University of Houston. Lon Otto’s previously published books include the novel The Flower Trade (Brighthorse Books); the story collections A Nest of Hooks (U. of Iowa Press), Cover Me (Coffee House Press), and A Man in Trouble (Brighthorse Books) ; and the letterpress chapbook Water Bodies (Coffee House).
