The current publication by the National commission for human rights- Pakistan have revealed unprecedent increase in blasphemy cases due to its misuse and fragile social cum judicial structure which contribute to this dilemma. One can safely project if the it remain unchecked, sooner then later it will appear with more drastic impact the range from economics to relation with external world to the right to life in Pakistan. within the duration of only six month 292 cases have been filed in 2024 which targets the individual and minorities disproportionately. the victim is not only facing delay but the significant procedural violation start from police station to court room, prison and access to justice. this is very obvious from the recent case of Dr. Shahnawaz who has been gun down by the police personal. Such cases is no less then trauma and fear and threat to people voicing for improvement in these laws either through amending it as per need of time of changing the procedure for it.
