Beach School Diaries - Session 5 & 6! ☀️ We have been lucky enough to enjoy two Beach school sessions this week down on the beach, with beautifully sunny weather! For session 5 we explored designing our own beach portraits, we invited the children in the morning before beach school to explore some of Van Gophs paintings of beach scenes and landscapes, which then inspired us to take our clipboards and paper to the beach to create our own designs! Session 6 was a sea themed pebble art session, where the children were able to search the beach for the perfect pebbles and stones to create their art! With creations such as mermaids, sharks and boats being designed! We have also been speaking to the children about how we can look after our beach, we enjoyed using litter pickers after each session to help clean up the beach! ⛵️⚓️☀️🦈
