Join us for our annual Fall Open House, Sue Perry Jordan Celebration Class, and Community Potluck featuring Jim Baird's famous chili! This is an excellent opportunity to try a class, register yourself or your children, ask questions, shop the borrow bureau, find out more about our programs and events, and connect with our staff, students, families, and supporters. We will be hosting a variety of free classes during the open house. Pre-registration by calling 907-451-8800 or emailing elizabeth@northstarballet.org is encouraged, but not required. 12:00-1:00 Ballet Bun Workshop, $10, all supplies included (All ages!) 1:00 – 1:30 Creative Dance 6/7 (ages 6-7) Beginning Contemporary (ages 10+) Beginning Teen & Adult Ballet (ages 13+) 1:45 – 2:15 Creative Dance 4/5 (ages 4-5) Beginning Children's Ballet (ages 8-12) 2:30 – 4:00 Sue Perry Jordan Celebration Ballet Class* Intermediate/Advanced Level (NSB C1 and up & Adults) *suggested donation to fund the Miss Sue Scholarship Chili will be available from 2:00-4:30 :) Dancers taking a trial class may wear any comfortable clothing they can move in OR North Star Ballet Dress Code: Boys - White t-shirt, black leggings, and black ballet shoes with black socks Girls -Plain, black, short-sleeved leotard with no skirt or decoration, pink or skin-toned footed tights, and pink or skin-toned ballet shoes. Hair should be styled away from the face in a bun, ponytail, braids, or similar. No jewelry may be worn. NSB has a limited selection of dance attire in our "Borrow Bureau" which functions as a little free library of dance clothes.
