Is there a Best Aunt of the year award anywhere? I would definitely like to be nominated if anyone finds one 😆 Since I’ll only have fur babies, I try to be involved in all my niece's and nephew's lives. Tennis, soccer, hockey, karate, dance classes- I’m all about that aunty life. 🎾 ⚽️ ⛸ I love being the cool and fun aunt to all of them. There aren’t many close relationships that we get to have where you get to know someone from the beginning of their existence. It’s a different kind of relationship with them. We can have a more relaxed approach or perspective with them and hopefully it gives them a unique kind of love and influence that they’ll remember and feel. It’s also fun to whoop their butts in a board game or give them a bit too much ice cream and send them on their way to their parents 😝
