A prime candidate would be someone with strong customer service skills with the ability to navigate conflict and difficult tense situations. A problem solver and creative thinker, with a dash of grit. Someone that is passionate and takes pride in their work. In all honesty this is one of the toughest careers in the world someone can commit to, and many can't make the cut. There are sleepless nights, heartache, extreme weather conditions, dangerous animals, and unpredictable scenarios around every corner. The majority of humanity will never truly understand your role and often even criticize you for it. This is what I say to that. You will NEVER live the same day twice, you will be surrounded by colleagues that completely understand, and the spiritual/ethical rewards you will gain along with the countless lives you will save make every second worth it.
