Inspired by daily life in Guinea and showcasing the beauty, youth and artistry of African culture, Cirque Kalabanté makes any theater vibrate with energy. Accompanied by contemporary Afro-Jazz played on djembe, kora, and other native instruments of Guinea, circus performers execute authentic choreography, gravity-defying acrobatics, and human pyramids. Cirque Kalabanté combines the diversity of traditional African arts with the virtuosity of a North American modern circus performance.
