Watersports and Adventurous Activities
Develop your Adventure Tribe and skills with Canoe Trail's Holiday Club based at Kempston Outdoor Centre. The Adventure School is holiday activities for kids aged 6 to 14.
Our school holiday activity club is designed to provide a stepping stone for young people to have fun and learn watersports like canoeing and kayaking, develop confidence and life skills and also help towards programmes like the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme as well as keeping active during the school holidays, at Easter, Summer and Christmas time. They will develop lifeskills through outdoor learning challenges including teamwork, leadership, risk management, decision making, problem-solving, and communication.
The Adventure School Holiday club is a great safe place to make friends, enjoy playing games and tackling neww challenges on the river, at our woodland or at kempston Outdoor Centre. The Centre is a great base with outdoor classrooms, changing rooms, shower and toilet factilities, pizza ovens, bushcraft areas, as well as an indoor climbing wall and bouldering area and high ropes course. Our woodland and outdoor centre have direct access onto the River Great Ouse
Currently, we provided Adventure School to over four thousand young people per year across schools, youth organisations, scouts and charities we work with.

Our Adventure School Holiday Club Programme has been endorsed by Sir Ranulph Fiennes listed by the Guiness Book of Records as the World's Greatest Living Explorer.
“Adventure School is a fantastic programme for young people offering a blend of outdoor activities and all-important life skills. I have long maintained on my expeditions that selecting people with the right personal attributes is the key to success as you can teach and train the technical aspects. I am convinced that Adventure School will provide many young people with the foundation and grounding in life skills such as teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and decision making to give them the best start in life. It will change lives and help prepare them for future challenges. Happy adventuring.”
