We are incredibly proud of our AOD alumnus Drew De Silva and his remarkable journey as a Motion Graphics and Animation designer who is making waves both locally and globally. From sketching cartoons as a child to presenting at the world-renowned SIGGRAPH conference in Sydney, designing multi-sensory experiences at the Sri Lanka Design Festival, earning recognition at international short film festivals, and now co-founding a creative consultancy—Drew’s story is nothing short of inspiring. It all began when Drew joined AOD after O/Ls, uncertain of what the future held, but curious about the possibilities of creativity. With the support of his incredible parents, Mr.Lakshman Angelo Percival De Silva and Mrs. Nilangani Jeewamalar De Silva, who believed in his potential and gave him the freedom to explore, Drew found his place and purpose through design. We’re so proud to have played a part in his early journey, nurturing that raw creative spark through a program that opens up every corner of design, helping young minds find the path that's right for them. Today, Drew continues to break boundaries and inspire the next generation of creatives.
