Steve & Ginny Wambold of Vancouver, Washington: Ginny’s heart resonates with the allure of primitives, particularly wooden bowls, bail handle pantry boxes, firkins, any butter or cheese making items, and time-worn quilts. Scott & Carol Knouse of Reedsville, Pennsylvania: Originally situated on a 687-acre Pennsylvania plantation, a 1775 home is now decorated in a “sparse and primitive” aesthetic. The late Joe & Loretta Alexandre of Ferndale, California: Nestled in a rural Victorian enclave, Loretta strayed from the usual style, decorating her home with a vintage blue stove, seed counter, crocks, apothecaries, and aged quilts.
