I’m running for Mayor because St. George deserves steady, principled leadership. This is my hometown; I’ve lived, worked, and built my life here. I’ve served on the City Council, working to increase transparency, cut red tape, and focus on the basics: good stewardship of your tax dollars, water resources, public safety, infrastructure, and quality of life. As a local business owner and cattle rancher, I know how to live within a budget. I’ve pushed to reduce waste, make better use of city resources, and protect taxpayers by ensuring your dollars are spent where they matter most. We can strengthen services without raising taxes and as Mayor, that will remain a top priority. My wife and I own Hughes Mortuary and run a family ranch on the Arizona Strip. This is our home. We’ve raised five kids here and hope to watch our grandkids grow up here. Our city is growing fast, and we need leadership ready to meet the moment. We can’t keep doing things the same way. I’ll bring stronger leadership, clearer priorities, and a renewed focus on results. I’ll show up, stand up, and listen, work hard every day; I’d be honored to earn your vote.
